Replacement springs for Marzocchi forks
Does anyone know where I could source a replacement spring kit for the OEM Marzocchi forks?
I think the stock spring is too soft for me (212 lbs / 96kg) and I'm really getting tired of the front wheel pogoing / chatter under hard braking. I'm sure this would improve it.
Thanks...

Cog,
I'm in the same boat as you are. I'm slightly heavier at 225 lbs, but I am currently looking at the fork solution offered by GP Suspsension in Oregon. I would visit their website and give them a call, as they would be very familar with the Hypers front end.

Thanks....I'm familiar with some of the replacement options out there such as the Ohlins fork, Racetech, etc....but i'm trying to avoid putting a lot of money into it at this point.
Wanting to see if springs would make it satisfactory enough for everyday, hard street riding before I go any further.

You could try a thicker(heavier) viscosity oil first. It'd be worth a shot before you drop down down some serious flow.
You could also try adding just a little more oil in the fork. Just a thought.

I agree on both counts, the springs are too soft and I'm not willing to drop over 1K on a fork kit. My off road suspension tuner can get me springs for the hyper Zokes made custom in two weeks, any rate I want. I will be speaking to him tommorrow and will get more details.

Thanks, Vlad. I'm looking into that as well....a guy at one of the local race shops that used to run the local Ducati dealer's service center recommended that.

For what it's worth, after installing the GP kit... and comparing a GP fork to a stock fork... I feel good about the purchase.

I'm sure its great, I work on cartridge forks all the time so no argument there. This bike is just a street bike to me, not my primary hobby, and not a priority as far as budget goes. Springs will help a lot in getting the bike in balance.
