Bump, I'm interested in this as well. Considering that tire or possibly the new Diablo Rosso Corsa. Curious if anyone has tried either of these tires.

I just spooned on a set. Unfortunatley I don't have enough miles to really tell you if they are worth a shit or not. I have a couple short rides in running some errands around town and they seem very neutral. I think they turn in a little slower than the Michelin PP 2CTs I have been running for the last few years. I personally like this, as on the Hyper I was sometimes leaning in too quickly and having to correct a bit mid corner. That being said, I really haven't gotten into any good corners, so the jury is out. They seemed to warm up pretty quick and I didn't experience any slipping typical of some new tread.
I think AzScott list them in his signature. He can probably give you a better perspective at this point.
Out!

I'm running the Bridgestones 003's now, a couple more canyon runs & they will be done. They work really well, but I'm always looking for something better, let us know what you think, especially if you do a track day! Aloha Alex

hmm, as tempted as i am to run them at the track I will only use slicks now! I tend to run off the edge of the roadies. that said, I'm hoping the q2's have the same profile as my sportec slicks, they are crazy mad!

I also have BT003's (thanks Alex!), have never run Michelins, but the 2CT's were highly recommended by some very quick friends, and were my second choice when I purchased the 003's. I have run Dunlop D208's, D211's...certainly I still prefer Pirelli's and have been running Supercorsas for years.
I now have a little over 2k miles on this set of BT003's, and think I can do another thousand on them - most have been canyon runs with perhaps 20% freeway miles. I chose them to satisfy my newly required straight up riding after ACH closed (damn fires!) and I had a farther ride to any good canyons. They warm quickly, stick well, but I feel they do not absorb bumps at low to medium speed nearly as well as the Pirellis or Dunlops, but translate them directly to the bars. I was surprised by this, as the review I read claimed them to be fantastic for the street. Perhaps I have just been spoiled, as I generally run DOT race tires, and this is my first set of street tires on this bike. I prefer tires with a quick turn in, and these are quicker than the Dunlops, but not quite as quick as Pirelli's, but a nice balance.
All the reviews I read raved about the Q2's, but they were not yet available at the time.
My .002 for what it's worth.
Ciao,
Noelle

Nope, just an observation. I have posted several times about the 2CT performance and that I really like them. The 2CTs felt a little different on my FZ1 too and they did not turn in as quick, which I liked too. I just wanted to try something new. If the Q2s don't live up to the Hype...............r, then it will be back to the 2CTs.
Out!

I wanted to try the Q2s as well but they hadn't arrived in Singapore when I was due for new tires. Maybe will try them next time, but I've really been enjoying the PP 2CTs.

Hi All-
That is the difference between the Pilot Powers and the "2TC" tires??
Also, what how do the Pilot Powers, "2TC" and Pirelli Rosso Corsa tires compare for riding twisty roads with occassional gravel on the surface?
Thanks
