I want to try out the Michelins and I'm looking for high mileage dual compound.

The road series claim to be the best wet and mileage tire but I'm not that concerned with having a wet tire.

Is there a better choice for a high mileage Michelin? Thanks!

That's the one I'm going for.
All the people I know using Road 2 are extemly happy with them. A good friend of mine is at 8000km on his rear Road 2 on his Z1000, and the tire still look very good. We're thinking at least another 2 or 3k before changing it.

I've heard they aren't the best track tire. Ask 08 HYPER (Alex). For my riding, mainly tight, sometimes dirty, less than perfect, damp roads, so far I love them.
