Smile HyperKromo Ride Home

My ride home from work late Monday afternoon on the turbocharged HyperKromo. The gauge in the bottom right is set to show a red light during boost. Filmed with a lip-stick cam from EdgeCameras. The audio was horrible, so I put Korn in it's place...

Good quality video for such a small camera. Wat rpm does the boost kick in?

Curious about the ambient air temp where you rode. The bike never got above 206 F. My bike runs around 225 F going 75mph in 60 F ambient.

I'm still fighting the ignition curve, but in city riding it comes in around 4,500 RPM's. It would coming earlier if I opened the throttle quicker, but I can't till the timing issue resolved.

Monday night was about 60°F, semi-dry.

I have noticed a slight drop in engine temp. I think it's from putting less stress on the engine to go 75 MPH. That and I removed all the exhaust restrictions.

If the fuel map runs lean it should raise the temperature quickly, so I've been riding a lot with the temp showing to watch for spikes.

It's an AeroCharger, so there nothing to really hear other then the exhaust. No wastegate or blow off values...

I'm going to call the tech support for the camera and see what I can do about the horrible sound quality.

Anytime I hard mount a camera directly on the bike I get nasty feedback, its more then just vibration noise as it sounds almost like electronic interference. But if I use the helmet mount it's never a problem.

Some type of rubber/electronic insulator needed for a bike mount possibly?

It's a Ducati and you rode in a straight line the whole time?
