Maybe you you So-Cal boys should stop building/buying exploding motorcycles, pool your money, and buy the joint!

I've never been to Newcombs, but I really hope you guys don't loose it. Places like this are harder and harder to come by it seems. My guess is someone will be willing to take the risk if the current owner decides to sell.

The owner's been hammered so hard this last year - fire, rain, AQMD fine - it's easy to understand why he's so grouchy and thinking of closing the place.
Rest assured, though, SOMEONE will step in and open it back up ... Newcomb's will never die.

I was trained in tempura and Japanese cooked food just out of school.

maybe this will keep squids off the hill. the place burned down according to another thread on here so whats the big deal thats its closing?
