Thinkinf of painting my subframe?
Hi all,
Im thinkin bout gettin my sub-frame painted and was wondering wat you's thought bout either red or black? i have seen a few painted black but not red.
Your opinions would be greatly appreciated....

what color are your fairings and frame right now... that may help others give you some guidance...
my vote is gloss black for the Red frame and Black frame bikes
I would also powder coat the subframe instead of paint, you'll be much happier in the long run!

Assuming your frame is red, there's a couple red subbies out there. Search through the pic thread, you'll find them! I quite like it, but I like the black as well so either way is better than stock...

Whatever you do DO NOT chrome your subframe!
Because then it would look just like mine

Either one is a big improvement over the stock gray. One thing to consider with the red - if you don't match the color and gloss perfectly (assuming you have a red frame), it'll look dorky.

Yea I have a red Frame. Good Point Bwhip, im sorta leaning towards the gloss black, would suit the carbon hugger and carbon exhaust covers better. But i also like the look of a solid red frame, brings out the trellis look better.....tough one....

why not get a light weight one from febur.it in black or any colour you like

Thanks for the photo FRUSTRATION.
Ive decided to go with the Red! Ill post up picks once the bike has been re-assembled.
