Ducati Performance Steering Damper - Snapped
I have the regular DP steering damper and the bracket that connects the damper to the handlebar clamps snapped on me. Any chance a vendor on the board has that piece avaialble for sale or knows where I can get just the bracket and not the whole unit?
Or if a member knows that would be great too. Thx.

This is the unit I have for the Hypermotard.
Of course in this picture the only part not shown is the actual part I need. Its the triangular piece that connects the damper arm to the handlebar clamp.

i have a full machine shop in my garage and like to play. if you run out of options or things are too expensive give me a call. i can mill something out of 6061. i have a lot of it laying around. finish would be up to you though. i'm not offering to produce shit for free. i'm offering to help someone out for free. i can also make custom tools that are needed for our bikes to start a loaner tool program. i would just need a description of what we need. this allows me to play in my shop and gives back for the knowledge i glean from this site.

Your dealer won't take it back? A $700+ damper purchase should warrant a bit of help...

I thought Ducati factory parts were covered under the Ducati factory warranty. Try contacting the dealer to see if they can cover it.

Very cool offer, you da man. BTW - How are you liking that FJR? I'd really like one for my road trips.

That is a very generous offer. Much appreciated. I think Kyle may have an inexpensive solution for me if the two brackets match that might be easiest. But I'll let you know. Really cool of you to offer.
