hyper v Husa 570SM

anyone tried a Husaberg 570SM as a comparison to the hyper. I'm guessing its a blast to ride but would I miss the grunt of the hyper. I won't miss the weight for sure.

Here a link about a guy asking about the Husabergs... but remember this is a bit older the new Husabergs have that monster slanted motor... but you really can't go wrong with the Husabergs IF you have good dealer support which was lacking in the past here in the USA. But the new motor is a ripper. Goto Supermoto Junkie and do some searches you might find some good info.http://www.supermotojunkie.com/showthread.php?t=45538

As far as going to the street legal SM bike vs. the Hyper I just did this... I bought a new 08 Aprilia SXV...two weeks ago... I"m still sort of stunned... it just rips it up and I'm keeping it below 8k rpms during break in but within those Rpms I'm romping it and it pulls fine... yes you don't have the torque of the Hyper, nor the cruising feeling at 65 MPH where the Hyper is idling along, while the SXV is all buzzy. But this is really insignificant in regard to how you go around the twisties....ON the SXV/Motards your doing alot more shifting, but the power is there, just less but I'm going faster... And that lack of weight for me is just what I have been wanting for so long. Is the trade worth it? For me it has been just awesome and a great decision. I don't know if I should sell the Hyper yet, but the Motard is how I like to ride more...

I'm not in Thierry VDB's universe ,but when I'm on the bike I do feel like this...leg out railing corners... couldn't pull it off on the Hyper.

I had two Bergs, both blew up big time within less then a few month. Don't even consider one for riding on the streets and parts are a nightmare to get at least when I had them 3 years ago.

You can offer me one at 50% discount and I will decline.
