best LED turn indicator upgrade ...
these LED upgrade kits are very cool. every hypertard owner in the bay area that has seen them installed on my hypertard has noticed them, and ended up purchasing them from this guy in california, who is the us distributor.
only sells on ebay ... ships right away, and the parts are super high quality and easy to install (screw driver and pliers are all that are required).
simple plug-n-play installation ... the LED PCB already has resistors installed, so you do not need to mess with the dash board setting for the rear indicators ... they flash at correct cadence as is.

btw, no affiliation with this seller ... just passing on info on a great hypertard upgrade.
ciao,
johnc

Do you think they could be easily adapted to the front? Tom

interesting... but more interested for solution for the front. My intention is to remove hand-guards and find a turn-signal solution for the front like previous poster stated.

that's well beyond my capabilities, but i bet that brad (reynolds_brad) could fabricate some molto cool carbon fiber hand guards that incorporate these LED boards ... and might even be able to fabricate clear or amber lenses for them.

found the website the sells these... interestingly they have "alpha" and "beta" indicators... both of which seem to be identical. Can anyone figure out the reason for this/difference?

Nice, too bad I just finnished the front on mine with other LED indicators and resistors to match flash rate. I used the enduro headlight strap mount method, worked great. I also went with DP handguards, additional sliders, CRG LS mirrors, and some really cool VisionX LED spot driving lights mounted up on the DP guards. When I'm done wiring them I'll post a pic.

I think ide go for something more like your setup John as these ones wouldnt really look good intagrated into a handguard.

I bought the rear turnsigs for the 1125 Buell which are the same housings as the stockers but LED @ $46. or so. Pulled the lens screw, reflectors, and spade clips and replaced perfectly. My ECU won't hold the change from bulb to LED in the indc mode though and flashes faster. I bought two sets and plan to install the fronts too.
