Well the Mod mode has kicked in,, loving it

Bit the bullet and added a few extras, Racing Exhaust, Slipper Clutch & cover, Brembo Levers..

Racing Cams this month and not convinced about more carbon?? Did the same on my KTM 690SM

Really impressed with the additional power and loving this my Motard more & more..

As a former V-max owner, I'm ROTFLMAO over you wheelie pic. I lifted my front wheel off the ground a few times, but not like that! That's too funny.

I had the 690SM just before I bought the Hyper. I really liked the KTM for the tight twisties, but here in Arizona, the tight twisties are harder to come by. The people here don't even drive the speed limits (slower) so you're constantly having to pass people. The 690 just didn't have what I needed to make those passes comfortably. I sold the KTM to buy my Hyper. I haven't taken the Hyper to Cali yet but I'm looking forward to it. I know it won't flick like the KTM, but I've ridden R1s ad CBRs on those roads before and still had fun too.

The trade off is more weight for more power. Due to where I live, this is what had to happen.

Dave

The KTM is a 690SM with original Duke fitting and underbelly exhaust. I pulled that off and put on the racing system which does add a noticible power range and smoothes out the bike. As was said before and in full agreement the trade off is more weight for more power on the HMS with no comparison "I love my Motard".. The 690SM is really nice around town and hill area around where I work in Malaysia less weight allows for nimble accurate riding, The front wheel comes up real easy in 1st & 2nd without pulling.. I traded my MV against it plus cash back.. Tqs
