I had the Stompgrip and removed it because the edges started to peel up even after I prepped the area with alcohol. If you do use it try chamfering the edges first. Also I found the nubs to be more aggressive then I needed and that may have increased the edge lift.

Techspec for me. Had the 'snakeskin' kind on my last 6 bikes. Make sure to clean the surface with alcohol and don't apply on a surface that is too cold or too hot. I'm very happy with them although the interest on the Hyper seems limited. They look great on it though!

I have the Techspec on the Hyper, they work well. Just call them directly and order them. I think they are only $19 bucks so you can't beat that.
I have used Stomp and Techspec on my track 600rr and both work well, the Stomp tend to stick better, but once they are one time they are on there. The Techspec can be removed and repositioned.
The "clear" Stomp grips are hard to install without trapping air bubbles, which are visable on some color bikes and looks horrible in my opinion. I have always used the black Stomp grips and find the traction is actually better than the TechSpec for the track , but not needed on the street or really on the Hypermotard.
just my opinion...

I use the clear TechSpec pieces, but trimmed to only cover the inset area
on the side fairings. I tend to dig my outside knee in when cornering, and the
leather was wearing away the paint. Yes, air bubbles can be an issue (I can
install them with just a few bubbles), but wearing thru the red paint is a
bigger issue. I also once used the piece for the rear light housing to protect
it from a tail bag on a 3-day ride... worked perfectly. Easy on, easy off.

I prefer Stompgrip and had them on four different bikes. But, no matter how hard I tried they would peel after 4 months Now I have TechSpecs on my Hyper.
