Riding wheelie's
I have 08 hyper S, and when I ride a wheelie, i get oil leaks after I ride, but any other time I don't. Also, when I come down from a wheelie, I have a knocking noise coming from my front end sometimes when I come down hard, is that the shock bottoming out, should I stiffen the front end? Thanks for your help.

You are no longer allowed to post threads about oil. You will have to do a search of other threads to find out about your issues..............and there are some.
In locking this thread, I offer you all this video. Although oil is never mentioned, it is visible and no doubt in 20W-50W. Classic!

I am sort of just dickin' around cause a couple of threads were locked because of talk about oil and other frequently repeated topics. It was really meant for others amusement
In short, when you stand this bike up like on a 12 o'clock it will puke oil.
As for your forks, you likely need to add a couple of turns of preload to the fork springs and adjust the compression and rebound dampning. A better solution is to set the sag front and back for your weight, then do the compression and rebound adjustments. The bike will get much nicer on wheelies and everywhere else with proper suspension setup. There are some good threads on where to start.
Good luck.
Out!

On my Supermoto I used to wheelie up my street right up to my driveway, chop the throttle closed and slam on the brakes before turning in and accepting the accolades from my young blokes. Totally different technique needed on the Hyper, I have to slowly back off and set the front down gently or it bottoms out even with 8 turns on the preload. This means I overshoot the driveway every time so I'm thinking of moving to the house next door.
