Ducati All Stars?
Anyone going http://tinyurl.com/yhpuxv2
RANT WARNING........
Seriously, wtf is this Ducati Love Ride Crap? And the logo I attached, bad extreme fighter tattoos with roses and a Ducati logo???I love the Sex Pistols as much as the next guy, But, aged rockers, riding custom bikes and playing a VIP concert? Even worse, you need to list what fucking band he was in? Seriously, if you don't know who Steve Jones is you have not an ounce of Rock n Roll in your yuppie blood. The saddest thing, a certain South Park episode and "F" word keep repeating in my head
On an unrelated note. I picked up some cool leather streamers to put on my 999r and a bitching beanie helmet + leather vest. Look for me at the show, I'll be the bad ass who hasn't shaved for a week with the skull rings and bad fitting jeans. Oh, I'll be playing The Clash on my iPod.
Jake, I know you're reading this...... Help us please.

Thanks, I'm listening to Darkthrone today and hopefully will burn the memory of that graphic from my brain.

Mike, if you want to look like a real bad ass riding that 999R, you'll need a couple of these as well

i've seen through the ducati angle for a while...they are trying to make thier 'brand image' like harley did with thier extremely succesful yuppifcation of harleys... but i'm not a ducatisti, and i think thier marketing and ads are mostly lame and for weenies.... and i don't give a crap what fat old celebrities ride them or if ducatis are in movies... its getting a bit desperate from my point of view they are screaming 'come be cool, you will be if you ride a ducati' ducatis are for older guys with some extra money ...

Sadly I agree with everything you're saying. You'll notice in my signature that my taste in Ducati's ends at the Terblanche bikes. Don't care what anyone says the 999 was the last great Ducati.

Now you opened a can of worms.
I agree with you and Scott, though.
I'm not too keen on branding, either. BUT, it's where a substantial portion of revenue comes from and the business as a whole depends on it for survival in the lean times of bike sales - like now. Thus, it has become a necessary evil. People want stuff that says DUCATI on it (or Porsche, BMW, Mercedes, MV Agusta, Harley, Ferrari, etc.) and will buy the swag as a stop-gap for lack of motorcycle-purchasing power. This means a constant in-flux of money for the company which helps to bolster their bottom line in times of need.
But I'm with you, Mike. The Terblanche design(s) is where my heart truly lies ... well, that and Tamburini (as you can see in my sig).
