Design my paint job! (Low Bandwidth Warning)
Think you've got a better design eye than the fancy pants at the ducati factory?
Think you've got a better design eye than your fellow board members?
Think you've got a better paint scheme than ME?
Well... prove it. I'm picking up twill weave CF bodywork slowly until tax day, then going to get it painted including YOUR design suggestions, if any of them don't suck. Here are your guidelines and inspirations:
I like the predominantly red HYM. Take your primary inspiration from the bodywork of the 999r: red over CF. Not all red everywhere, though; let's show some of that mesmerizing twill weave.
I will follow on with my current direction. Post your designs!
Attached to this post are templates for most of the parts I will eventually add.
This should be fun!

No help here other than to say what you have looks great.Don't over-do it and leave the "flyscreen" off. There's a reason you're undecided on the "flyscreen" design. It doesn't belong on the bike. As far as the headlight-beak, just continue with the stripe seen on the other parts.Other than that it will look spectacular with your current design IMHO.

Nice bike alanime - very nice result! Based on your mounted look, I think I'm not going to paint the second 'fin' on the tank fairing, nor the lower 'beak' area. Only red around the headlight.
And I do believe you're right, hyperdookie. Couldn't figure out how to make the flyscreen work. Perhaps a swingarm cover instead. >
Thanks guys - this is helping. Any others care to comment?

Well,
IMO as an expert, what you have is very basic, It also has been done many times before, if this is OK with you & is what you were going for than OK, But Maybe you should try to think outside the box a little that is when Magic things happen, be a leader, pave the way....
I have many ideas for Hypers, all Unique..... Right now My current Project is how to make a Street Fighter Unique...
