Which Rearsets?
I'm looking into getting a new set of rearsets, and I'm down to either the Rizomas or the Style and Performance ones. I Definitely like the look of the Rizomas more, but are they more functional? It appears that they have a lot more adjustments for the actual footpegs than the S&Ps do, no? Are there any other design aspects I should know about before picking one? Thx.

It looks like the s&ps have a lot of adjustment,if not more than the rizomas. From what I see you can pick 1 of six positions then the peg is mounted on an eccentric for fine tuning. What I didn't see stated was if the levers pivot on bearings or bushings.
I like the Rizomas, but don't know why they went with the gold color. They use bearings in the pivots.
Speedymoto has been claiming they are going to be coming out with a set for awhile now so if they ever do, that would be another option.

Color should not be an issue when you choose rearsets.
If the only thing that bugs you is the gold, you can always get the levers painted:
If i was to changed my rearsets, i'd go with the DP or the rizoma.

Understood about the color. It just seems like they should offer some options for that kind of coin. After all, how many guys do you see painting clutch pressure plates or covers? For a company like Rizoma, that shouldn't be a problem.
By the way Chouch, those look great. How do you like them?

Yeah, got your point. For 660$, guys at Rizoma could offer more than the gold levers.
The bike is not mine. Stole the pictures from someone on the french Hyper board. I was gonna buy some Rizoma rearset untill I tried them.
Not desapointed at all by the Rizoma product, just by the price. Dont find the stock set that bad to justify a 660$ price.
I went the cheap way, powdercoating

CFM Woodcraft. They ain't the most pretty, but they're the most functional. Even with my suspension properly set up, I was draggin' the stockers all over the place - both pegs and both pedals. The Woodcraft's are up, up and away...

I'm not super concerned with height, in fact, the height of the stockers doesn't bother me much. I drag toe once in a while, but I haven't gotten a peg down yet. My main concern is the distance between the peg and the gearshift. Seems they were designed with a 4' italian rider in mind when they came out with them. I would like to fit my big ol' 'merican foot between the peg and lever a little easier. And gold isn't an issue since I've got mainly gold accents on my black Hyper.

Crank, if that's the case, as it was with me, take a look at the Shift-tech pegs(or DucatiDesigns).I have size 14 feet and could hardly shift with the stock set-up. The Shift-tech pegs solved my problem and for now, I'm not really in the market for rear sets.I still occasionally scrape the levers, but not enough to warrant new sets.I have the pegs set all the way up and back and since the shift and brake levers don't get moved with the pegs, it provides tons more room for the foot.Highly recommended for us big footed freaks.

Do any of you know anybody personally who has purchased a set of adjustable rearsets from one of the various companies on Ebay selling them?

I'm curious about the quality of the units.
