sub frame removal part three

Ducati....I know..let's hide all the nuts in places where you cant get a spanner on them...great plan guys

Pain in the ass isn't it? I like how they attached the rubber biscuits for the tank to the subframe bolts with circlips. This necessitates removal of the tank to swap out the subframe.

I unbolted the tank mounts and lifted it a few inches to remove my subframe. complete tank removal was not necessary.

I was planning to remove my sub frame and getting it painted red...........
But silver is growing on me ...... very quickly !!!!!!!!!

Having never worked on any Ducati when I removed my subframe, I can honestly say It's not really as hard as some think it is.

It only took me about half an hour to free it from the bike, thats including the mandatory beer break.

edit. I had the exhaust off before starting subframe
