Traxxion deal
One of my racer buddies pointed me to a deal that Traxxion Dynamics is running - $1600 for their fork cartridges (installed!) plus a Penske shock.
http://www.traxxion.com/index_original.shtml
Yes, this stuff isn't as nice as GP or maybe RaceTech - but this seems like a pretty good deal.
We'll see what change is left under the sofa after the holidays...

I've spent a lot of time on the Yamaha FZ1 Owner's Association forum and there were a lot of guys running the Traxxion and Penske products. Everyone seemed to love them and I can't recall anyone complaining in the least. I still ride with a guy who has this package on his FZ1 and loves it. He rides a lot of stuff including track days.
I was really interested in the GP kit, but I am gonna thing about this kit.
Out!

Don't know about Traxxion's fork kit (only used their services for springs and shocks), Penske shocks are very nice and if I was in the market I wouldn't hesitate to buy another. I've had 2 now on track bikes, one my departed Aprilia RS250 with all the bells & whistles and a simpler version on my Duc 750SS. Good stuff.

Over the past several years I have had many bikes that had Traxxion fork upgrades and Penske shocks, they even custom made me a shock for the Bimota YB11. I'm currently using their Axxion AK20 catridges in my SPS trackbike.Top notch products and excellent service, no compliant and as good as any other product out there.

If I recall, there was a guy named Lee (?????) working with Traxxion. Everyone said their customer service was excellent. It sounds like guys here found the same thing as those at the FZ1 forum.
Nice bikes Ducatierv!
Merry Christmas!
