OTD Price for a Hypermotard 796...
Being that no one probably has a 796 yet, this may be a bit pre-mature...
But any , I've been calling around a few nearby dealerships (within a 3 hr driving radius). Most have stated that they expect to receive their first batch of 796s within the 1st-2nd week of Jan. These bikes will go to folks who've put down a deposit.
I was asking their OTD price (bike, prep, states sales tax, license, etc. Basically everything to be truly out the door.). Most dealers are within a couple $100 from each other. One dealer stated he could do $11,000. I thought sounded pretty damn good.
Curious if others have called around to get a $ number...
THANKS....

In this economy I'd think you could get a better deal than that once the bikes arrive. It is winter around here.

Want a deal? Wait. The first ones will go for good money. If you wanna be one of the first, you're gonna pay. But if you're wiling to wait, you'll get a better deal.

Jigaloo, what dealers did you speak with?
Just curious... I'm local as well and would love to know about the 796 OTD pricing.

A big first time holiday hello ...... On dec 18th I picked up my 796HM from TTMotorsports in Mt Clemons MI. This is my 1st road bike ever. The price of the unit was $9680.66 + tx, prep and fees (they also cut the fees in half for me) ..... I believe I got the first one delivered in MI.
I am a old woods racer ... my last two bikes were Husky's ....I have been captivated by the HM since it's inception. I feel right at home on it. I test rode a 1100 this summer, rode 125mi on a friends Monster ..... so far I have Zero miles on it ....
So for me my experience w/ TTMotorsports was first class. No gouging... First class all the way.

11K for a wet clutch 800 cc bike seems steep... Personally, I'd wait for a better deal. I picked up my 08 Hyper for just under 9K + fees -- it was a left over bike that was never titled and they needed to get it out of the floor.
