Anyones know where to get a set of spoke wheel.

I've red on this board somewhere that the spoke wheels on the EVO SP presented at Milan should be available as a DP part.

But yesterday I went to a new Ducati dealer in Lyon in France (visiting there for xmas) and i had a good look over the 2010 DP catalog, and didnt see the spoke wheels in it.

My guess is that they will be available later, maybe as a special order or something like that.
My other guess is that the price tag will be close to the magnesium wheels...

The Rims...

The rims are made by D.I.D. and are called the Dirt Star, which are used for MX. Until now D.I.D. and it's US distributors have not said anything about releasing the DirtStar Tubless rim for our Hypers.

I contacted Drive Systems Usa, Inc., 5953 Engineer Drive, Huntington Beach, CA 92649, phone is (714)379-9040 which is a US distributor for D.I.D.

Here is a link to better pictures of the upgrades.

I emailed D.I.D japan to ask them about the spoke wheels, here is the answer I just got:

Hi, Jean,

Thank you for your e-mail to our website.
Though I could not see a photo you attached, I guess I know what you are talking about. The rim itself is ours with D.I.D DirtStar logo, but the assembled wheel itself was made by a wheel assembling company in Italy. As far as I know, it is an OE project for Ducati. Accordingly it is not ready for the aftermarket.

Thank you
Best regards;

Someone from the Italian Hyper board was at the EICMA in Milan and ask 1st at the Ducati help desk, then to D.I.D and then at Fa.Ba
Seems the rim itself is a tubeless D.I.D, the inside was designed by Fa.Ba and all that only for the show.
Ducati wanted to see the feedback before putting it in the catalog I guess.

Here is the post from the Italian guy :

We need to get back onto this, I would love to have some spoked tubeless wheels!

If and when it becomes available, be prepared to pay full premium for that set. My custom BEHR (6 rear) wheel set for my Husky set me back a good chunk of cash. Good luck.
