Wet Pod Filters and Performance.
Has anyone been caught in the rain using pod filters similar to what is currently being used for the Ca-Cycleworks aftermarket filter and I assuming on the TPO and TPO Beast-R systems.
Reason for asking, is because I hear that when these filters get wet from moisture from the road, you might see a signficant decrease in the ability of the filters to flow air to the engine, where as if you had an airbox you might not be as susceptible to moisture issues.
With all the debate on the midsize tank, I just wanted to understand what I was potentially signing up for before I jump in feet first.
If you can answer my question, I would appreciate it.

I was concerned about this too with the Ducshop kit. They said its no problem. You can get water resistant Outerwear prefilters to go over the pods, or make your own.

oh... would have been good to know. I've definitely been caught in the downpour and didn't have any covers for my pods... what do I do now?

I would think that you'd have to ride through a monsoon to worry about that.
