removal of sprocket cover problem

I stripped these cheap bolts on the sprocket cover with my allen wrench. I have really high quality Allen wrenches, but it still stripped them. What is the best way to remove these and where do I find better replacement ones. I've heard that some people have replaced them with titanium bolts. Where can I find them. Thank you

For titanium fasteners I have used Pro-Bolt (who now have a U.S. branch at
www.probolt-usa.com) and also these guys-- http://www.racebolts.com/

Be prepared to pay top $$$ for anything in titanium, but, by the looks of your
sig you can afford it!

For a stuck screw with no real head to grab on (some hex head bolts can be
removed with good Vicegrips), you can either slot the head with a Dremel
and use a screwdriver, or drill into the stripped screw and use a tool called
an E-Z Out. There are also reverse drill bits that will sometimes back the stuck
screw out while you are drilling into it.

For fasteners that appear to be at risk of stripping (won't budge), I generally
heat the screw to soften any LocTite and then use an impact driver, which
applies a rotational force as you tap on the end of it with a mallet. It's
always more work if the head strips out, so steps like this save time in the
long run. I've had much of the Hyper apart and have yet to strip any screw.
But don't ask me about the brakes on my (Italian) Birel shifter kart...

I had the same problem with min. I used a Dremmel with a cut off wheel and just slotted it and used a flat blade screw driver, it worked like a charm.

Try taking an appropriately sized torx bit and tapping/hammering it into the stripped allen hole. The hammering/tapping helps loosen things up a bit and the torx will usually grip better. I've had to do that to several fastners on the bike. I do plan to try and start replacing the cheap crap on the bike with better quality hardware. Titanium is probably out of my price range...

I had the same problem with the same bolts.
The difference is that my stock rearsets were off the bike. Didnt bother trying to find the best solution, use a metalic saw do to a "cut" and then a flat screwdriver.

If you go the way I did (taking of the left stock rearset, using a saw then a flat screwdriver) remember to put the bike on a stand.
The bottom left screw of the rearset is also the screw holding the side stand...
