Nothing better to do today (well, I guess I could have gone for a ride) so I decided to try my hand at a little fender elimination. I had a piece left over from tidifying my friend's Monster and it turns out that with some tweaking and drilling I could get it to line up with the screw holes under the exhaust. I took the stock plate mount, lopped off the light and lower reflector, drilled a hole in each of the side reflectors for the turn signals and bolted it to the Monster piece. I think it turned out pretty good. And it all disconnects really easily for track day fun. To keep the law happy I'll eventually add some sort of discrete plate lighting, maybe those bolts LEDs or something.

And while I had out the dremel (or should I say, Sear's Best Craftsman Rotary Tool) I decided to enhance the functionality of my CRKT M16-13z pocket knife.
