Like most of you, I have been looking for a solution for my Hyper front end for a couple years now. After waiting too long for Ohlins rumors that never pan out, and not wanting to shell out $3K for a entirely new front end with 46mm Ohlins, I went and asked GP Suspension (who has done my track bikes and rear shocks for years now) what they could do.
Long story short, I am now looking at a complete drop in kit that is priced at $1275 and is almost ready. But times are tough, and I still don't want to pay that much. So I asked if I get a group buy together, could we bring the price down. Dave said if I can get 10 people on board he'll knock another 15% of on a group buy. I want the discount, so quite frankly, I'm going to try my best to sell you on this
Happy Thanksgiving ; )
Here's what we pulled out of my forks (2008 Hyper non-S)
ugh:

The GP kit is basically their recently developed 25mm racing cartridge kit referenced here
http://roadracingworld.com/news/article/?article=37523 but redeveloped to fit the Hyper's massive forks. The kit includes the cartridge, springs and fork cap. Here's a look at what's going back in my forks and some side-by-side shots.

The fork caps aren't back from the anodizer yet, but here they are before they left to get hard anodized.

For $50 you can send your forks to GP and they will do the install and may even put on the travel indicator (seen below). If your fork is older and needs a full service, I think it's around $150. They only thing they warned me about is the seals; since they cannot source Marzocchi seals, you can provide your own or they can source they from their local Ducati shop.
I will have my stealth forks soon... PM me if you want to help me bring the cost down.
