Ride height adjuster....Termi race system
I just picked up a low-mileage DEMO 1100S. When I tested the bike I fell in love with it...it was so easy to ride and just seemend to beg for action. Once I got it home and rode it on a curvy road, I immediately noticed the front end seemed to be fighting me through the turns, especially when countersteering.
I read a couple posts where the ride hieght adjuster came into question, and found mine to be fully retracted. Someone did mention the crated Hypers having about 5 threads showing beneath the bottom lock nut. Is anyone willing to share a setting you have found that improves turning, ie # of threads visible, etc..
Also, my bike came with the full Termi race exhaust system. The bike runs great and sounds awesome, but I am probably going to sell it and install theTermi slip-on instead. If anyone is interested in a race system with less than 100 miles on it, in perfect condition, let me know. Price will be pretty darn cheap.

I have the Termi 2-1-2 you want on my bike... how about a trade?
I will have to do this ride adjuster thing on mine as soon as I get back to the US...

I have ordered the slip-on system should be on it's way to the dealer, just planning on keeping the race system until I can mount and prove the termi slip on system to work out before selling the race system. Thanks for the offer. Still a very good possibility of selling the 2-1 since I do not anticipate the slip on to give any trouble with the butterfly valve and cat converter.

Let me know how much you want for it when you decide to sell...
I'll post my findings about the ride height when I get to it.
If you have a chance to try it first let us know the results...

Ok. If we agree on a price, I can put it on e-bay with only pre-approved bidders so you can have buyer protection if you like. I can send pics, etc.. if you like. Will let you know something in a week or two.
Thanks!

Heya Brian
My S actually had 3 threads showing when I picked it up.
As the council built the ground close to my bum I have lowered it to near the the end so about half/one a thread left.
This has slowed the steering but added stability, I also pulled the fork tops level with the top triple.
I am not only used to the way it turns but prefer it, the stability with the longer travel suspension is good and I have no problems in the twisties whatsoever.
These bikes can be ridden very fast and very successfully without have std roadie settings so don't necessarily be fooled by "what we always done".
Food for thought anyway, hope you enjoy your new ride as much as we all do .

I am no giant myself .
Thanks for the input. Stability is important to me as well. I am used to riding my YZ on mountain trails and the GSXR750 on the track and mountain twisties, so maybe it's more of a matter of me getting used to a totally new style of bike and riding. So far, I'm thinking the GSXR may be gathering a bit of dust this riding season!

My S came with 2 threads showing at the top. I am added 5 mm then went to 8 mm. Now, I am at 4 threads or 857 mm measured from the floor to the tip of the oem license plate with the bike on a rear stand. Definitely quicker handling. Start out in small increments and then road test!

I actually raised the back to the max height(I think thats 5 threads but I am at work and cant check) and lowered the front about 2mm to get it to feel the way I like. That quickened up the front end quite a bit and got rid of that plowing feeling going in to corners. It seems to turn in alot better without any excessive nervousness now.
Switching to the Pilot Power 2CT's seemed to help alot too.

Thanks for all the input! Time is a premium right now and don't have much opportunity for trial and error. This is very helpful!
