Fabbri windscreen
I installed the screen a few weeks ago and I have been very happy with it. Then last night I had to remove it to make access to install some handguards and found 2 of the 4 attachment points inside the headlight fairing had broken off and one of the remaining 2 is cracked. I guess it's wind pressure and buffeting. I didn't over tighten it but it was good and snug and the screen itself isn't cracked.
Any ideas on repairing those little stubs? I'm thinking some fabric and epoxy. Doesn't have to be pretty since you can't see it and I think I will reinforce the remaining 2 points.
On a side note it does appear to fit and look good with the Zeta bar and handguards.

I had the same exact issue. The Fabbri plastic is way too brittle. I did a wheelie and the thing shattered when i brought it down (softly). I just put on the DP windscreen which is a lot smaller but seems more flexible. Unfortunately the postman decided to slam my DP package into the mailbox, so it was slightly cracked when I got it. A little superglue mended it OK, I dont like the smoked version of the DP, so I may spray it with some Krylon Fusion paint in satin but for now it is fine. If this one breaks I will go CF.

My windscreen didn't break. It was the tabs that hold the nut plates on the headlight fairing that you attach the windscreen (and the black dash area) that broke off.
The CF screen is a good idea though and I can use the Fabbri screen for a perfect mold for that intricate bottom part of where the it mounts to the bike. I might have to experiment with that this winter.

I would stop drill the cracks and then drill holes on both sides of the crack and layer some epoxy over it from hole to hole. should help

Not sure what your cracks look like but you could possibly do a little plastic welding....

Who makes a CF one? Somebody mentioned Shift-tech in another post, but I don't see it on their site.
Thanks,

did you guys use those OE nylon washers to sandwich the windscreen? I have been using a fabbri that isn't cracked. It's been through some pretty windy conditions too.
FWIW, I also have the carbonworld/shift tech CF screen and mine fit perfectly and is in my opinion the best built, other than it being stock height vs. the slightly taller Fabbri.
BTW, they still make sell it even if Shift Tech doesn't....

I can tell you I had both and just sold the CF Shift-Tech to someone from here. I loved the CF one (Fit, Quality A+) but I thought the Fabbri worked better for me with the added height. Neither one is really tall enough though.
