Zeta turnsignals

I just installed my Zeta bars and hand protectors (will be selling the Duc r/h one - the l/h shattered in a tipover) - and the turn signals in the platic guards work, but flash way too fast - meaning, I assume that they don't draw enough and I need to put a resistor in.

Anyone else seen this (just to make sure it's not another issue)?

Anyone else done the math to decide what size resistor to buy?

yup ... the zeta LEDs have too low a resistance ... hence, they flash too fast.

what we did for the zeta LEDs on my hypertard was to install a resistor on each pair of leads ... bernard installed them for me, and he might remember what the resistor values were.

with the resistors in place, the LEDs flash at the proper rate.

I guess changing the settings in the Service Menus only affect the rear turn signals since the rears came with 10w bulbs?

Service MENU - Rear Turn Indicators Setup
This Function allows you to set the correct piloting of the rear turn indicators.
The vehicle comes as standard with bulb rear turn indicators (10W); if the owner wishes to change them and
fit Led Ducati Performance indicators, after installation it is also necessary to set them within this page of the
Service MENU.
To view this function, access the "SERVICE MENU" and enter the "Set INDIC" page.
Then press button B for 3 sec. to enter the "SEt" mode.
The display reads "LAMP" (bulb type); press button A (s) to switch to "LED" (Led type).
Once the correct type of turn indicator is set, press button B and hold for 3 sec. until "MEM" (memorised) is
displayed.
Take the key to "OFF" to save and quit this function. Upon the following Key-On, the Dashboard goes back to
normal operation.
