no need for 'i told you so'- thats what ive got my wife for.
about to trade the smc on a 2008 standard , with termi 2-1 , bit of carbon and racing seat.I'm too embarrassed to tell you what i got for the smc , but the cost of the HM was ok ( even considering frasers are including 2-2 termis on thie new 2009 hm).
I'm happy, hopefully I'll keep a bike more than 12 months now.
I'm looking forward to many aftermarket purchases!

What didn't you like about the SMC ? I was looking into getting one, but it seems like there are a lot for sale. I had an '05 SMC.

i think it's more of a case of having one bike... and while I love my KTM... I'd keep the hyper, if I had to make a choice.

exactly.I love riding the SMC- its light, goes fast enough ,has fantastic suspension etc BUT it just doesnt do it for me.If I could have two bikes ( or more) I'd be keeping it.I enjoy the fettling/customising almost as much as the riding, and theres nothing left to do with the ktm.I also miss the V twin.Its been fun , but a very expensive exercise.
Oh well.
