Hand Guard Alternatives...any idea?
I am going to replace the stock hand guards due to the fact that one is in 16 pieces. That's a story for another time.  I have seen the ZETA kit that Forrest is offering. Looks nice. I was hoping you guys and gals might have some other alternatives I should consider. Thanks in advance.

acerbis makes a few nice options for the hyper. http://www.acerbis.it

I have Acerbis guards with aftermarket indicators and this works well.
The Ducati guards are easily broken and seriously spendie if broken

Andi, I can still see a little bit of red paint on that mirror...

What did you do, brush it with your hip as you walked by the bike? That would do it... 
I think hitting a good-sized bug could cause those stock things to break!

...bastid ... actually that is just the reflection off the red pinstripe on my wheel ... true ... I wouldn't lie to you

You wouldn't think that red pin strip would reflect that much eh 
Still, my nice strong handguards should stop my mirrors getting dinged up  ( as he quickly changes the subject)
