interesting service for those checking their valves
http://ducatitoolrental.com/index-3.html I may check into them when I do my 7500 in the spring. Now to find some shims for a decent price.

But, that extends my service time substantially. I just can't justify $500+ worth of tools and supplies to do this service 3-4 times.

Don't be surprised if your valve clearance is good at 7500 miles. Mine clocked 12,000km and no adjustment needed and I ride the bike hard daily to work.
I love this engine

Mine was fine as well, and the techs told me this is usually the case. I lined up two dealers that would sell me shims as needed, one local and one by UPS.
