Would not start this morning, WTF?
Sooooo; went to get gas this AM because I'm still one of the yahoos without the 10 gallon tank. Went to start up and.........nothing but a yellow engine light.
I gave up a BMW for this shit?!?!?! Anyone know what the issue could be?

I have been getting that some, but usually removing the key for 15-30sec. then trying again works. I thought it might have something to do with when iIleave key in the ignition while getting my gear on, and the immoblizer key/chip thing gets confused.

Check your battery contacts, they may look ok, but might be slightly loose. It happened to others before.

I sometimes get the same light, two variants; light on no start, cycle the key, no light it starts or it starts light on until you cycle the key, in 5 sec or 50 miles. Batt terminals tight

Are you running a fatduc O2 manipulator? I didn't have a starting problem like that until I hooked one up. Electrical all comes on but no cranking. It could be coincidence but who knows...?

Nope. Nothing added or changed other than the Race ECU from Ducati.
I leave work in 1/2 hour...I'm scared.

Thanks Alex! Thanks Marco!
It wouldn't start so I got a ride home from a co-worker.
I'm bringing tools tomorrow and will take apart the ignition cover and check the ring. Will let you know in the AM.
Thanks again boys!
