Snatchy Throttle "fixes"?
Hi-
What are folks doing to help smooth out the snatchy throttle response?
I installed a G2 throttle tamer, but it doesn't seem to have helped...
Your advise and experience is much appreciated
thanks

Termis and dp chip helped to smooth things out for me (compared to stock). It is not as smooth as a shaft drive bmw or guzzi, but it did help with coasting, and transitions.
Best to just keep the throttle wide open, no problems with that.

1) check your chain tension. That was 90% of the problem on my bike.
2) Fatduc will help

I just checked my chain tension and it was at 34mm.
Since the book and the swingarm gave 30-33mm as ideal, I loosened the two pinch bolts and tried to turn the rear chain guard to tighten the chain..... but it didn't move.... so, I went to the threads, found out chain tension might supposed to be at 38-42 instead....
What are your thoughts on correct chain tension?
Would 34mm cause the snatchy throttle?
thanks!

Jerky throttle
Termi single sider plus kyle throttle tube..worked for me
Also a less expensive solution...Have you checked and adjusted play in the throttle cables ? :-)

1. I have the G2 throttle tamer, is the Kyle better for the Hyper?
2. Yes, there is no play in the cables.
