ECU Ebay
Hi guys, I found on Ebay a DP ECU but with the fllowing item description...
''Up for bid is a Magnetti Marelli 5.9M Race ECU for all Ducati Hypermotard 1100/1100S models with the Termignoni aftermarket exhaust system (DP 96519308B, immobilizer is disabled) (will also work with other aftermarket exhaust systems). This ecu has not been used since being reprogrammed and comes as shown in the photo.''
Is it safe to get something like this... I mean how can the ECU be reprogrammed... and what could be reprogrammed? What is it with the immobilizer... if it is disabled, does it mean that any key can be used on the bike? What can get wrong if using this ECU?

I wonder what ECU it is? A DP exhaust ECU or a cams ECU.
