I'm about an inch shorter than you, and the hypermotard with the "lower" DP gel seat and the lowest setting on the adjustable ride height linkage bar (whatever it's called) on the S model is perfect for one legging it or tip toeing both feet if needed. I test drove the demo bike without a problem either and its not even lowered. When you're vertically challenged, ANY bike is gonna be too tall so just get used to one legging it!
Oh yeah, if you drop the rear too much the tires can rub away at the wiring under the seat during compression, so get the side exhaust and the wires will be relocated out of the way....
