Manuals: 2008 vs. 2009
Hey folks. I picked up one of those service manual CDs off ebay and it's for a 2008. Any significant differences betwixt 2008s and 2009s?

Just your forks as far as I know: KYB on the S vs. Marzocchis in 2008.
I did notice a threaded hole on the right side, lower head (cylinder? can't remember) that is cast closed on the 08 standard model that I looked at. Not sure if it's cast or threaded on the 08 S.

Is that the one for attaching the belly pan?

Cool, cool. Knew about the forks, but that's about the only major difference I've heard of.

The '08's have an automatic starter - push the button once and let go. The bike will turn over until it starts. The '09's don't have this feature.

Huh. When I was picking mine up, the dealer told me that was really the only difference between the 08 and 09... I stand corrected!
