new to the site

Hey guys I'm new here but not to bikes and certainly not my hyper these things are a blast huh? well anyways here's my questions that have probably already been answered in the past and i'm just blind to them. I have an 08 hm1100S I low sided about 2 months ago thanks to a negligent driver. I broken my left side hand guard and mirror. So I decided last night that since the hyper isn't very motardish from the factory (at least compared to the ktm's and husky's I've had) I want to put different bars on it, preferably renthals (only real brand loyalty I have) but I don't know what size will work with the stock controls as they seem like they won't reach with wider bars, nor do I know what I am going to do about turn signals those are my only real issues. will RC/SM bend bars work? and what should I do for signals?

Welcome to the site. good to see another ct. hyper rider.I live near UCONN. Not sure about the bar question but I just saw a thread on this site last night that might answer your question. But the turn signals, I took the old ones off and installed a bar end mirror and made little brackets that mount to the screws behind the headlight for the regular LED lights I bought. You will have to use the fuse that comes on the old lights wiring harness. Again this sounds worse than it is. I could take some pics and send them to ya.
