Belt tension adjustment

Can anyone tell me if this method of adjusting the belt tension is valid for the 1100?

No it is not. Here's why, the DS engines have offset cam rollers and the cam pulleys are of a larger diameter than on the older 2v engines.

The belt tension should be set harmonically and to do it correctly the cams should be locked in place to avoid shifting cam timing when adjusting belt tension per the service manual. See Belt Tensioning

Ok, suspected as much after popping a cover off and checking. Definitely no getting a 5mm allen in that gap. Thx.
