Just Cheated On You Guys
... and bought a 2004 DR650 for Adventure riding.
Don't worry I still have the Tardis and the MH900e and these are staying put.
Looking forward to some adventure riding as well!!!
This is her .. aptly named Suzy!

Nice! I wouldn't call it 'cheatin'...more like a 'threesome'...
Nice bike!

had one. liked it. miss it. Doesn't have a lot of pose value, gets no respect from the cognoscenti and there is virtually no aftermarket goodies. Damned nice bike though.

Cheers guys, may get a bigger tank as they are available, has a pipe etc already so for the most it is already set to go.

Man that's an awesome bike. People always rag on them because it's 'old technology' and they're 'too heavy' but the fact is they are a LOT of fun, they can eat miles and travel quite well and the engine is bulletproof. If I could find a used motarded one I would buy it in a heartbeat.

That is my plan, it has a 17 inch rear wheel so I will get another stock rim and track tyre it, buy a 17 inch front and track tyre that, then I have an adventure bike and track slut as well, 2 in1 .
Loved taking the Tardis around the track but to throw that down and end up with $30000 worth of scrap metal and plastic would not be good so it does not hurt as much as when only $5000.00 invested, my logic anyway.
