Hand Guard vs. Turkey Vulture

Hand Guard didn't hold up very well, but saved my hand. Approx. 85 mph strike.

Better the handguard than your hand. Bird probably didn't look any better...

Replace everything with the setup from Wheeling Cycle Supply. The Turkey vulture wouldnt stand a chance against a real hand guard!

Those things should be called "plastic light and mirror holders" they don't so shit as a "handguard" besides blowing up on contact with the ground, or in this case, a bird. like crashman said, do not waste your money on overpriced, POS Ducati replacement...get some real handguards.
