I was looking around too for info on that too ... never found any... All I can tell you, which is evident from the vid, is that they took an 848 rear valance/seat combo and rigged it onto the bike then did some hacked rear sets... You could just get some cleaner rearsets (he probably didn't have them available back then) and if you want try to add the 848 tail section.. There are some cheap fiberglass units available.., As far as suspension the front is crimped shut so the valving is inaccesable but Race Tech can get around that for extra cost, but the rear is pretty nice as it sits

For motor work there is a guy on here ALOHA ALEX (08hyper) who did a dyno run at 102hp recently. Big bore, valves, cam...

I really don't think they did more than that to that Canadian Hyper except a skid plate and maybe some better front brake stuff.

I would not waste the time to change the tail section. The real problem that I think you will have is making the belly pan. You might be able to use one that is made for the Paul Smart.

Also, is he getting knee in that video? I was just on the track over the weekend and I did not think I was anywhere near getting the knee down. But he is running rear sets so that might make a difference.

The Hyper is really easy to get a knee down on in stock form. Just don't be surprised when your brake pedal and pegs grind down a little.
Putting rear sets on does give you much more clearance and get's rid of a lot of "oh shit" moments.
