Depends on your system, I have the LV's, and with the dyno testing I've done with the LV's, leave them IN, as they make more power with them IN. On my motor the best HP with them out was 97HP, with them IN was 101HP! keep in mind that the LV's are dual outlets, so I do not know about the single outlet cans. Aloha Alex
