New HM Owner
Well I finally did it, picked up my new (to me) Hyper today. 2008 with 2600 miles on it. Already had a DP seat and Speedy Moto Sliders on it. Have only driven it from the dealership home so far but I am in love with the damn thing. It's been about a year since I've had a bike and everything feels right with the world now. Can't wait to get some miles on the thing. Got a big trip planned for the begining of Sept. Gonna be a great summer. Pictures to follow.

congrats and welcome. I got mine b/c I could not decide if I wanted a sports or a touring machine...The Hyper is neither, but it is so visceral and connected to the rider, that I no longer had to rationalize.
Enjoy and post often.

I think every forum that I have ever been a member of (Jeep, VW, SV, etc) has that same issue. Some are worse than others. Not sure if any of you are familiar with VWvortex but that was probably the worst. You wouldn't even think about asking a question if you didnt search first, lest you be run out on a rail for trying to start a new picture thread. Anyway, it's sunny here in seattle today (i know, holy crap right?) and I am going to take the bike out and scrub off the chicken strips that the previous owner left and then take some pictures so I can start a new picture thread. Just kidding. Happy riding.
