Cleaning belt region?

So, I took off the CF panels for the belts, and pully's and put on some billet pully covers from Speedy moto. My question is, that region is quite dirty, particulate, and greese.. Any suggestions on cleaning it up?

re"cleaning belt region"

I tend to use soap and carefully dry the area before getting redressed.
Hope this is helpful.
