Pair of Pirelli Diablo Tires - $189.98
Cycle Gear is having a sale on these tires. They are the regular/original Diablos, not the Corsa3 or Rosso. While not as grippy as the Corsa3 or Rossos, they're decent for normal street riding and generally last longer than the Corsa3.

This is a kicking deal. I bought a set of these when they had them on sale last time and they are a decent tire, but they just don't feel right to me. I find myself sliding a bit more in corner entries and I just don't get the feed back I got from the Corsa III's or the Scorpion Syncs. I had to fiddle with the rear shock settings and air pressures to find a happy spot. But I am an odd duc so take this with due insight.

Guys, Cyclesector.com is selling 20 sets of Bridgestone BT-016 120/70 & 180/55 for $225 shipped.

Similar experience here, these tires do slide a little on corner entries and spin up a bit on exits but its predictable. I wouldn't use them for a track day though.

I debated about posting it in your thread and actually completed the post and deleted it twice before submitting! I took advantage of their last 20 set sale. I have no affiliation with cyclesector or Bridgestone and wanted to pass on my internet surfing deals to my HM brothers. FWIW, I am die hard Pirelli Corsa and DCIII fan but I have read numerous posts claiming that the 016s feel exactly and wear like the DCIII for $85 less.

No problem posting here, and I have no affiliation with Cycle Gear or Pirelli! If I didn't have a stack of new tires from past sales sitting in my living room, I'd be all over those BT016 tires from Cycle Sector. I'm always on the lookout for good tire deals.
