termi 2-1-2 servo/flapper
Spoke to dealer today, i am still trying to get to the bottom of this, he says servo motor is disabled with the slip on ECU at 3,500 rpm or when moving, but It's cycled upon key turn on to clear itself of any carbon build up, but remains open from there on, so removing from the loom would throw a fault light

i'm curious to find out what is going on with this too. i purchased mine used w/ the termi system, dp ecu and airbox lid already installed. i was under the impression that all of the extraneous bits had been removed. i guess not

I want to fit the shark replacement flapper valve pipe, then remove the the cables and servo motor, I have spoken to 3 dealers now, non of them know if it will throw an error light, There must be someone out there with a termi 2-1-2 set up like ours that has gone this route, just need to find them!

You have found him ... me!
Your stealership can disable the flapper motor and o2 sensor in 5 minutes with the slipons ECU.
It really is as simple as connecting the bike to the diagnostics unit and getting into the correct settings area and disabling the flapper and o2.
Then you can disconnect your flapper motor at the plastic connector and remove the little brick from the bike.
Leave it in the shed or throw it at your neighbours, it is not a difficult task to do the disabling, you just need a stealership who KNOWS what they are doing.
Don't pay the stealership to learn, they should be compentant enough to do this and that is what you pay their big rates for.

I have the 308B ECU (termi 2-1-2) and have no error codes at all. I removed the entire flapper valve unit from under the seat.
As monstaman said as long as you dealership knows what they are doing, you can remove any error codes with the 308B ECU.

Same here for me. I put in my 2-1-2 and had the dealer set TPS and tune they disabled mine and I removed it when I got home. No problems, no codes.
Plus I put on a set of Zard headers, and tey remove the butterfly valve.

KK that's one clean looking set of Zards.
Quick question for you or any other Zard owners.
Do your headers line up with bottom of the engine where the stock exhaust bolted to it?
Mine doesn't so I have not bolted it to the engine at all. Seems OK and I don't get any movement at all from them.
