Santa Barbara Twisties(Video)

A video of a nice little road in Santa Barbara...

http://vimeo.com/4487393

If you are wondering why I hit my gas tank... A yellow jacket was just sitting there for about 10 minutes while I was setting up the camera. I tried to scare it away, I even pushed it away but it kept coming back... So I just smacked it with my gloves...

And yes, I brilliantly managed to miss the first shift into second gear....

nice video, how long did it take to you splice the three cameras views into one video? I kept waiting for the fairing cam to film some air time on the front end. well done

I would probably say I spent 90 minutes to 2 hours editing....

The best part was I had to do one run to warm up the tires and then 3 more runs to film the different angles... I can't understand why anyone would want to buy more than one camera...

The only air time I got was coming out of a corner into a little straight, hard on the throttle and then hit a bump... But it was with the helmet cam so you don't really see it.... Was only about 8" to 12"... But i swear I felt the backend leave the ground to, but I doubt it.

I think Swanny used a GoPro, Monsta. His shadow in the helmet shots makes it looks like he has a teletubby helmet. Thats a pretty good indicator.

Good editing job, Swanny. I like the drum video too. You should post your Hyper stuff here The Hyper Channel so that folks can find them and take virtual rides when they can't get real seat time on the Hyper.
