Question How shiney (or dull) is your black powder coat?

I am in the process of getting stuff ready for the powder coater and was wondering...for those that have done this already, what gloss of black did you go with (high gloss, semi gloss, satin, flat)?

I think gloss would be good for the rear subframe, but for the triples, it seems like it would be too shiney.

Your powder coating experience/opinions please...

I did semi-gloss on everything; rear subframe, skid plate, Riz chain/oil cooler hose guard and engine side cases.

If I were to do it all over; gloss on the rear subframe. I like the semi but I think the gloss would look better.

IMHO; semi-gloss on the triples.

I was waiting on seals coming from italy, just got the call from the dealer. also the powdercoater had to redo the front wheel because of some runs. i guess the candy is tough to put down

Hehehe...yeah, it took my dealer about a week to get those seals.

I can't wait to see how she looks. Those wheels look sweet.
