The Beast "R" comes from Tpoparts.com
Many forum members run this intake, it WiILL add HP but at a cost of a really "LOUD" intake roar!
If you put the Beast R on you will need to add a Power Commander or similar
device to add fuel as your bike will run too lean. Aloha Alex

Do not waste your money on the DP ECU. The whole point of the power commander is so that you don't need the DP ECU. You will need to get a new custom map after each of your changes. So you may want to make all your upgrades before you have the custom map made on the dyno.

For anyone thinking about a Beast R kit I would suggest looking at the Ducshop product as well. I have the Beast R and from what I can tell the Ducshop kit is both more complete and cheaper. I found out about it after I already bought the beast, which I'm in the process of installing right now (finally).
One note on the Beast R- it was designed for the Monster, so when they say it's 4 lbs lighter - that's in comparison to the Monster system. For the Hyper it's less than 1 lb lighter than the stock components.
As for the DP ECU -it takes care of a few things, like adding more fuel, letting you remove the exhaust valve, and getting rid of the O2 sensor.
If you already have workarounds for those, then it doesn't seem to make as much sense in getting one.

So, in order to run the beast-r or anything similar like the ducshop's you will need a PC or everything will run lean ?? Is that what I am hearing ?? Can't just have one must have both to run proper ???

No, a DP ECU will do very well to fit the bill, a PC111 will fill in the hollows and take out the humps, just a bit more accurate ability to tune and thus a smoother power delivery.

For me, I would wait to do a dyno set-up map with the PCIII, until I have all the mods that I want to run, (cams etc.) so I only do the mapping once. (save money)
If you have a choice, get a DP ECU, it will turn the system into a "OPEN" loop system from the stock "closed" loop system, the PCIII will work much better with the DP open ECU, than the stock closed ECU, as the PCIII cannot map all RPM ranges of the stock closed loop ECU. The DP ECU is also designed to disable the O2 sensor, & power valve. (no codes)
The DP ECU's were designed within a certain "mod" range with extra fuel of 8% for an open exhaust systems, and 18% more fuel for cams, and open exhaust, this was based with a opened stock airbox, and when you go out of this range, (like with the Beast or Duc shops kits) you will have to get a PCIII or smiler device to get proper fueling.
Aloha Alex

The Beast R is great, and yes Alex is right the intake noise is ridiculous - I suggest earplugs. I tried to go the Ducshop route but they did not have any and wouldnt for who knows how long. I also got the black outerwears as well - little insurance against dirt and also keeps the primary filters cleaner longer.
