Anyone want to trade for a Super Duke?
Ok I was lurking on here working myself into an increased frenzy about the Hypermotard and It's clear that I have the worst case of new bike fever known to man. It's like the swine variant of new bike fever!
I have never owned a Ducati and I really dont know why... Anyway last week I took my KTM 690SMC and really put it to the test in the canyon for the first time.. I am totally hooked! That got me thinking... I wonder if the Hyper has that "tard" feel with increased power soooo I went and test rode one. All I can say is WOW.... great bike! I am in the process of "making room" for a new addition.
I noticed on a thread in here that someone had traded a Super Duke for a Hyper so I though what the heck... let's see if someone else is looking to make a change.
I have a 2007 Super Duke that I will offer up for trade. Can be straight up or +/- cash... no matter really just looking for a fair trade.
details
07 SD
Leo carbon slips
PCIII custom tune 118HP at the wheel
Carbon heel plates

Carbon chain guard

This bike really rips, great fun. Be perfect for you if you want a little more power but a similar feel.

Did you get any PMs, or does everyone love their Hyper too much?

so far everyone is in love.... i get it... clearly i can appreciate it... It's encouraging that there has been silence. Affirmation that this is a good decision.
Yes i am on the way there one way or the other... I soon will join you all in the fun and games.

I had a Hyper and actually traded it for the Super Duke and am happier with the KTM. I lost a little power down low, but the SD has sharper handling and has an extra 33HP on top, which is a huge difference.
If I was to trade my SD for another Duc, it would be the Streetfighter.

It's a touch call. The KTM is sharper and quite a bit faster, but the Duc has a certain fun factor to it as well.
And it's a Duc, so it gets extra points right there. :-)
