Install Instructions for New Ohlin Rotary Damper - Ducati.ms

Does anyone have instructions for the new Ohlins rotary steering damper? I just bought a new Hyper, and "thought" i could easily install the damper. Couple of bolts, few minutes of swearing and bada-bing, done thing.

Unfortunately there were no instructions in the box for install. And, there are a couple of extra bolts and a unique spacer/cylinder that I am not sure which way to install. Mostly need to understand the connect between the part that attaches to the ignition key housing and the bottom of the Damper.

Actually, good pictures might work as well. This is the new gold Ohlins damper - looks like the older Scotts, but is now Ohlins.

It's just a rebadged Scott's. Scott's still makes them. The mount is different then the Scott's though. The Scott's is a submount.

Maybe try Scott's website for some instructions on how to install the Scotts. Some of the process many be similar.

Actually, the Scotts is a rebadged Ohlins, and the Scotts billlet stuff and hardware like towers and mount kits are made by BRP. They should be able to help you though, not Ohlins.

The Scotts has been produced by Ohlins for Scotts for many years. Ohlins eventually badged them with Ohlins as well. So in essence the Ohlins is a rebadged Scotts.

Either way the mounting kit for the DP is not a sub mount.
