Switching to a Hyper

I have spent the last 5 or six years on a Yamaha Roadstar Warrior. I have also had a KTM SMC along the way. Now its time to switch to the Hypermotard. I am just a few minutes from Salt Lake Motorsports and less than an hour from Miller Motorsports Park. The conditions are perfect for a Hyper!

Here's the question:

I see Stock 08' Hypers on Craiglist and other places for about 9k. I read in another thread that you can pick up stock 08's for 8k all day long... So, I'm looking for a little direction. Anywhere in the Western US is fine... Is it too much to ask for a 08' for 8k or one with full Turmi for 9k?

I picked up a 2008 S model for $10,300 on ebay with 1,500 miles. So I would say $8,000 for a base model shouldn't be hard to find. Try ebay and Cycle trader too. Good luck http://motors.shop.ebay.com/items/_W...=&_osacat=6024

you can buy used S models for under 10K, if you are patient. In California.
